Still on vacation and I'm trying to remind myself this is all part of the experience. We camp with my parents because I want my kids to have memories with them while they still can. My daughter and I have been sleeping on a fold down couch and we don't really fit. While I enjoy vacation it's funny how one can miss the mundane. I want to make a dinner that's not BBQ and do laundry. I think I have officially lost my mind. Yesterday was beautiful and my daughter and I went to the pool and beach while the boys enjoyed a car show. We went to town and had the 5 buck DQ lunch as well. Not sure what today will bring because it's supposed to rain tomorrow. I may also hit a laundry mat today. I'm worried about my parents. My mother has early onset dementia and falls a lot and my dad has asthma. I'm trying to spend as much time as we can with them. Does anyone else feel like we are to young to be going through this? I just graduated high school (20 years ago) Anyway I...

I'm so excited to be spending a few days in Mackinaw city. If you are not from Michigan it's truly an amazing place. My little one has been at camp all week and my niece is driving her up today. I missed her so so much. It's raining so this morning has been spent on my phone on Pinterest. Did you know you can get a ton of "Happy Planner" printables off Pinterest ?  I'm totally addicted to mine. I also Brought along my cookbook collection and am planning on meal planning while here. My niece is going because her boyfriend has never been so I may take my son who has never been either. My daughter had the opportunity to go last year with the Girl Acouts. My computer is down for a bit so I have to blog from my phone which is why I haven't been on much. Here is my baby girl at her brownie bridging ceremony. I can't believe how big kids...

I am applying for a midnight shift and I am hopeful for that, but I have been more busy  in the SAHM realm then I EVER have before. So far I have enjoyed although to be honest, I find it to be much  more work then working Part time. My hubby works 80 hours a week and I always had the excuse "Well I worked today so this didn't get done, or that didn't get done" Now I have no excuses. I am left to my own devices on my failures at mommyhood. I have been trying to bake my great Aunt a cobbler for three weeks. I still haven't gotten it done. My little dog has decided our house is his toilet, and I have forgotten to send in almost all school papers, dance papers, Girl Scout Papers. You get it. It's not that I don't start the day off with great intentions, ...
